Did you know that you can use HOT - HomesOpenToday.com to rapidly showcase your MLS property and/or open house? Just go to HOT, login, click your property, and get to the details page. Copy and paste that url as an attached link in FB, and click to the second thumbnail. Voila, an instant deep link to that property page, complete with image thumbnail. If this proves popular we will work to integrate further.

Brokers and office admins can now request that any person with a valid MLS credential be setup as an ‘office delegee.’ This means that persons login will then allow them to add/edit/delete any agents properties as open homes on the HomesOpenToday.com platform.

To get setup as a delegee simply call 925-295-1270 and ask support staff to make this simple change. The person being delegated to will be asked to login to HOT, and then will be granted this delegee status giving them visibility to the entire office inventory.

Getting setup takes only a few moments. If you are an office admin or secretary, or a broker, and you want to streamline your offices ability to publih open homes to HOT, then just call 925-295-1270 with your office information, MLS login, and other pertinent information handy.

Also, don’t forget that any agent can get a HOT map for their website! Just tell support that you want the map!

Do you have a web presence? If the answer is yes, then HOT can do a lot for you, with almost no effort on your part. You should consider:

linking to HOT from your website

deep-linking to your profile

framing your inventory from your HOT profile

iframing the HOT blog google maps as seen below.

Even if you don’t have a web presence, HOT can help you realize one easily. Consider using any of these techniques from a blog page at wordpress.com, they are fast, free and easy to setup. Or go to C.A.R.’s website at http://car.org to get started with a client direct newsletter free from C.A.R.

If you have access to HOT and have a web presence, you can use your profile page on HOT - HomesOpenToday.com to instantly and effortlessly display your inventory to the consumer.

To start, understand that HomesOpenToday.com, HOT for short, is a FREE service brought to you by your local Association or MLS.  The consumer facing portion of your MLS Property information is visible on HOT on your profile page.

View your profile page by pasting this web address into your browser and changing the 99999 placeholder to be your MLS ID. http://www.homesopentoday.com/profile/realtor/99999 .

After pasting that string into your browsers address field just hit enter.

If you have problems with that, then simply go to www.homesopentoday.com, click ‘login’ and login as you would to the MLS. Click on your properties, and then click a specific property. Beneath the pictures on that property detail page will be a link that says ‘click here to view my other properties.’ The resulting page is your profile. That pages address will not change, so you can link to that page, or frame it into your website, giving you instant inventory access.

An example of the iframe statement to place in your blog or on a page on your website is here, and shown below -

<IFRAME SRC=”http://www.homesopentoday.com/profile/realtor/MLSIDHERE” WIDTH=590 HEIGHT=650></iframe>

Don’t have a website, blog or other web presence, or just want to get the most out of the HOT experience? Consider using this tactic in the C.A.R. Client Direct Newsletter. It is also free! Just go to C.A.R.’s website, login, and add that profile page link to your newsletter.
